The aircraft swooped and dived , then a sharpshooter leaned out the side door and started firing.Soon the plane and its marksmen were joined by others . For days this went on . And when they finished some three weeks later, the carnage was complete.

This airborne assault in southern Arizona was a federally orchestated program- one that left 200 dead cycotes scattered across the Coronado National Forest and adjacent private land. Under the United states department of agriculture wildlife services program ,the government shoots some 100,000 coyotes, foxes mountain lions and other predators each year.As in this case ,extermination often comes at the behest of livestock grovers and hunters.
Matt says “It would seem appropriate to notify the public if there’s going to be planes flying over-head shooting wildlife.”
